Jade plants are nice plants to grow indoors. They are very easy to grow and they don’t require that much care. They grow best in warm environments, usually 65-75 degrees. Around 50 degrees at night.  You should put them in direct sunlight for 4 hours or more a day. A great thing to get a plant lover at Christmastime is a Christmas cacti. These plants are easy to take care of and they are a great addition to poinsettias at Christmas.

These are much different than your run of the mill cactus. These plants come from the rain forest verses the desert. With them being from different places they are use to different environments and should be treated different.

Have you ever went shopping for a new plant and wonder if your getting the right one or if the plant that you picked is healthy? There are several ways to tell if your getting a good plant. First, look at the leaves. They should be the right size and color. They should not have brown edges, which is a symptom of too much heat or fertilizer. Pineapple

I read about this in a book once, so I decided to try it and to my surprise it has worked.

Peperomias are low growing foliage plants. These plants have thick leaves and they grow less than 12 inches tall. Allot of people like the wrinkled-leaved varieties of the paperomia. Some of these would be the Emerald Ripple, Little Fantasy and the Tricolor. The Emerald Ripple gets to be 3 to 4 inches tall.
